Among those foundational leaders is Heather Cummins, our Vice President of Site Operations, who recently celebrated her 20-year work anniversary this past October—a milestone our leadership team was honored to celebrate with her.

Two Decades of Change: What Reprotech Looked Like When Heather Began

When Heather joined Reprotech 20 years ago, the company operated with the resourcefulness of a true startup.

Heather: “I think the biggest difference is just the volume. When I started here, there were only six full-time people. Now, we have over 100.”

There were no specialized teams—no IT group, no sales team, no layered leadership structure. Just six people doing everything.

Heather: “Back then… the six of us were all of those roles rolled into one! I remember when I first started in Florida, we had just one bookshelf with patient files — and it was only half full. Today, we have over 60,000 patients.”

What began as a handful of staff and a single shelf of files has evolved into a nationwide infrastructure serving tens of thousands of families—growth Heather helped shape from the ground up.

The Milestones and Memories That Made an Impact

With 20 years of experience, Heather has been at the center of countless projects, improvements, and moments of connection. One milestone stands out clearly-

Heather: “One of the biggest milestones for me was when we went paperless… seeing all the file cabinets gone and the space we gained was such a powerful reminder of what we accomplished together.”

Going paperless transformed the pace and precision of our work—modernizing operations and helping us meet the increasing needs of clinics and patients.

But when it comes to memories, Heather values the moments between the big achievements.

Even as the organization scaled, the sense of camaraderie never faded.

What Has Remained the Same Through 20 Years of Evolution

Despite immense change, expansion, and industry advancement, Heather believes one core element has stayed constant.

“The love of my work family has stayed the same… No matter how long I’ve worked with each person here at ReproTech, I genuinely feel cared for — and I feel the same way about others.”

Reprotech’s culture—rooted in trust, kindness, and mutual support—has carried teams through both everyday challenges and life’s biggest moments.
