Before specimens can be shipped to Reprotech, customers must complete account paperwork, provide required serology results (HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C), and prepay storage and transfer fees. Once this is complete, we coordinate directly with your IVF Center to arrange the transfer. 

Specimens are transported in cryogenic dry shippers with absorbent material that maintains -150°C or below. Each tank is placed in a protective “mushroom-style” container, secured with tamper-evident seals, and monitored with an FDA-approved thermal indicator. Most of our shipments to clinics are hand-carried by trained Reprotech staff. For those that aren’t, UPS Premier Healthcare provides priority handling, tracking, and intervention in case of delays.

Reprotech does not provide tanks for clinic-to-clinic transfers within the U.S. or internationally. Customers may work with one of our recommended international couriers, and we will coordinate with their chosen provider. A $200 administration fee applies.

Each storage center location provides regional in-person pick-ups and deliveries by a trained Reprotech staff member. If an in-person pickup is not feasible, we also partner with local medical couriers for deliveries in their metro area. Pricing varies by courier and distance; contact your nearest Reprotech office for a quote.

Reprotech offers a specimen shipping protection program available exclusively to our customers. While every precaution and effort is taken to ensure safe and timely delivery of specimens, shipping accidents can happen.
