In addition to every tank being housed in our Disaster-Safe Rooms, they are also protected with multi-layered safety measures:

1. A sophisticated system of internal temperature sensors capable of detecting variations as slight as .01 degrees Celsius.
2. External temperature monitoring sensors that measure the temperature on the outside of storage tanks as an extra layer of surveillance.
3. Frequent measuring of nitrogen liquid levels with evaporation rate tracking and predictive analysis.
4. Weekly testing of our alert call-out systems to ensure functionality.
5. ReproTech’s storage tanks are inspected frequently and manually replenished with liquid nitrogen by trained and experienced staff.
6. Our storage tanks do not rely on electricity to maintain their cryogenic environment.
7. All tank rooms are live video monitored 24/7 with remote access cameras.

ReproTech goes above and beyond to secure our clients’ specimens. Access to ReproTech facilities is by appointment only and the main entrances remain locked at all times. The cryostorage area is additionally secured by keypad entry and 24/7 camera monitoring in every tank room. All facilities are protected by comprehensive alarm systems including motion detection.

Safe Storage Facilities

Regionally located in the United States, our five offices provide convenient access to storage. To safeguard all of our storage sites, ReproTech has installed F5 Tornado Shelters in our Minnesota and Texas facilities, Safe Rooms to withstand wildfires in our Nevada facility, and Storm Rooms to endure Category 5 hurricanes at our Florida facility. These Safe Storage Rooms house our cryostorage tanks and are built to withstand increasingly strong and frequent storms, giving our clients priceless peace of mind. Safe Storage Practices

Having the safest storage means preparing for scenarios that are extremely unlikely, just as an extra precaution. ReproTech goes above and beyond in the following ways:

• • • • • • Client specimens are split between two storage tanks when possible.
          • Back-up storage tanks are kept empty, cold, and prepared for an improbable scenario where specimens would need to be moved for safety.
          • Liquid nitrogen bulk tanks are installed in each ReproTech location offering a substantial supply of nitrogen on-premises.

ReproTech provides storage services for patients who have tested positive for sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HTLV 1 & 2, Syphilis, or other communicable diseases. We’ve developed industry-leading processes for shipping specimens to provide the highest level of safety and security.

We ship with United Parcel Service (UPS) Premier Healthcare service that provides priority handling of our shipments, enhanced sensor-based visibility while in transit, live 24/7 location monitoring, proactive delay follow-up, and advanced recovery, if necessary.

All of our shipping tank enclosures feature our proprietary locking mechanisms and custom Secure Tight seals. We use temperature exposure indicators to monitor the cryo-environment during shipment. All tanks are weighed and inspected before and after each shipment and then tested annually and validated to hold correct temperatures.
