Julie Westlund

Julie Westlund, BS, MA Vice President of Customer Partnerships

As Vice President of Customer Partnerships, Julie leads pre/post-sales partnerships between IVF clinics and ReproTech. Julie brings over 30+ years of experience in the fertility field to ReproTech and has a proven track record of managing successful sales teams as well as expertise in launching new product lines. Julie is an expert marketing and sales professional. She has a well-known and respected national reputation within the Reproductive Endocrinology community most recently serving as Strategic Account Director at Freedom Fertility/Cigna, and prior to Freedom, VP of Client Services at Univfy, VP of Marketing and Sales at Premier IVF, Director of Client Services at IntegraMed, Western Regional Director at Ferring Pharmaceuticals and Strategic Business Expansion Consultant/Product Manager/Clinical Science Liaison at EMD Serono. Julie holds a Master’s in Marketing from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science in Design Management from the University of Missouri.

Amy Erickson Hagen

Amy Erickson Hagen, MS, TS (ABB)
Vice President of Quality Assurance & Innovation

Amy earned her Master of Science in Reproductive Physiology from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Animal and Range Science from North Dakota State University. She joined ReproTech in 2015, bringing over 12 years of expertise in project management and regulatory compliance within the reproductive industry.

Before ReproTech, Amy served as Corporate Compliance Officer at the Genetics & IVF Institute, overseeing a sperm bank, egg bank, and infertility practice. There, she developed and implemented policies, procedures, and audit systems to meet regulatory standards and established robust quality systems. Her diverse background includes research in placental IUGR, work as an embryologist/andrologist at an IVF clinic, and roles as cryobank manager and technical director.\

Amy has been a strong advocate for sperm banking prior to cancer treatment, partnering with Fertile Hope and LIVESTRONG to establish a national financial aid program for cancer patients. She also pioneered a mail-in sperm banking kit that received recognition in The Wall Street Journal. Her experience spans clinical infertility, third-party reproduction processing, regulation, and project management.

Amy is an active member of the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB), serving on the Standards and Programs Committees. She also holds memberships with the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories (ISBER), RESOLVE, and the American Board of Bioanalysts (ABB), where she has achieved the distinguished Technical Supervisor certification.

In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, attending sporting events, and keeping up with her kids’ activities.

Danika Batastini

Danika Batastini, BS
Vice President of Partner Operations

Danika serves as the Vice President of Partner Operations and has been with ReproTech since 2007. Danika graduated from the University of Nevada at Reno with a Bachelor of Science. Danika worked as the ReproTech Nevada Site Director for several years, then transitioned to vice president in 2019, overseeing all ReproTech site operations.

Heather S. Cummins

Heather S. Cummins, BS Vice President of Site Operations

Heather is ReproTech’s Vice President of Site Operations. She has been with ReproTech since 2005, first serving as the Site Director and Client Services Manager at ReproTech Florida and then as Site Director at ReproTech Texas. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from the University of West Georgia. She began working in the cryobanking industry in 2002 after teaching and coaching high school students for two years. Heather is an active member of the American Association of Tissue Banks and currently serves as Secretary of the Living Donor Council and previously served as a member of the Education Committee. In her spare time, Heather enjoys playing golf, watching college football, and traveling.
